XRechnung and ZUGFeRD
Receive, check and book e-invoices
Since 2025 every business in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices; from 2027 those with more than €800,000 in revenue must send them, from 2028 all. Ocost reads an e-invoice from its data, not its picture, and handles it like any invoice: checked, matched to its order and delivery note, ready to pay and to export.
How it runs
- 1
It comes in
Uploaded or mailed to your Ocost address: an XRechnung as XML, a ZUGFeRD invoice as a PDF with its data inside.
- 2
It is read exactly
From its structured data, without a model: every amount, VAT rate and line as the supplier sent it.
- 3
It is checked
Sums and the details an invoice must name (§ 14 UStG); what is missing is asked once, with its reason.
- 4
It is matched and booked
Against its order and delivery note, then paid and in the month’s DATEV export.
